Get all your greens in for the day with this green smoothie. Use the tips below to change the vegetables with the seasons and the herbs and flavourings with your taste buds.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup filtered wate
  • 1/2 large or 1 small avocado
  • 1 scoop Modere Green Qi powder 
  • 1-2 tsp Modere Natural Minerals
  • 1/4 continental cucumber, chopped      
  • small knob fresh ginger
  • 1/2 celery stick, chopped handful baby spinach
  • 1/2 lime or lemon, skin on 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric 
  • Good pinch Himalayan salt 
  • 4-5 ice cubes

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Drink as soon as possible.

CULINARY TIPS

  1. Substitute fresh kennel for a sweet anise taste
  2. Add kale leaves chard or collard greens
  3. Add chilled green tea or peppermint tea instead of water
  4. Add Stevia or Monk Fruit Sweetener
  5. Add 1/4 1/2 of the avocado seed to the blender
  6. Add a small knob of fresh turmeric
  7. Add a kiwi fruit or half a banana
