Chia Puddings are a nutritious breakfast or snack. They’re a great source of protein and healthy fats, and you can make them to your liking. Add your favourite spices, berries, coconut, or nuts & seeds.

INGREDIENTS

BASE

  • 2 cups nut milk
  • 709 / 2.5 oz chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla, if desired
  •  2 scoops Modere protein powder, if desired

 GREEN LAYER

  • 1 cup nut milk 
  • 1/4 ripe avocado 
  • 1 scoop Green Qi
  • 1/4cup baby spinach 
  • Stevia or Natvia to taste

 CHOCOLATE LATER

  • 1 cup nut milk
  • 3 tsp raw cacao
  • Stevia or Natvia to taste

 METHOD

FOR PLAIN CHIA SEED PUDDING

  1. Add the chia seeds to a large container, slowly add the nut milk and vanilla, stir until all the liquid is added.
  2. Leave the mixture to sit for about 20 minutes, stirring regularly, or until the mixture thickens.
  3. Spoon into individual serving cups and top with nuts and shredded coconut if desired.

FOR FLAVOURED CHIA SEED BUDDING

  1. Blend the milk with the ingredients for the Green OR Chocolate Layer. To make multiple layers, halve the milk and blend each half, respectively.
  2. Then add in the chia seeds slowly while stirring.
  3. Leave to sit for 20 minutes, and continue to stir every 5 minutes or until the mixture starts to thicken.
  4. Then layer the flavours into a serving bowl.
